My two boys also love jumping in rain puddles. It's nice to capture such moments. Time goes by and children grow. Splish, splash, splosh! :-)

I remember when I was just like you: I wished I could have a family… but I wanted to do things properly (school, job, a place to live… and the most important of all: Someone to love and to be loved by Him :)).

My boyfriend's grandfather was born in Slovenia, nearby Dobovo. He came to Argentina at the early age of 7 (that was too many years ago), and he has traveled several times to Slovenia to visit his family. In special occattions, we use to hold up our cups and tost while saying "Nasdravia!!"

I feel very happy (even proud… and a little embarrassed ;)) that you decided to leave a comment on my first blog. (I’m glad you like it :))
Please, excuse me for taking me so much time to write you back. I haven’t been around much lately. As I broke my leg (both bones – pretty complicated) a year ago, there is plenty of work waiting for me at the office and at home (beside exams & evening classes) before the coming surgical operation in the middle of June.
You were asking me about the weather forecast… Well, as this is the weather forecast for Slovenia, it won’t be of any use on your blog. I advise you look for something similar at your side of the world ;), try to make a contact with the keepers of that website and ask for permission to use it. If you explain that you need it for teaching purposes… they might be even glad to send you the right URL or/and HTML code to add it to your blog. (They probably know that you could probably get / take / “steal” that piece of information anyway ;)… But it’s always nice (and safer) to ask, isn’t it? ;)).
As a matter of fact, I’ve just noticed my weather forecast has stopped working. I probably wouldn’t have realized it if you hadn’t asked me about it. Thank you :)!
I think it’s time I start looking for another one… so there will be no weather forecast until I get something useful.

I’m sure there are many students who would like to contact you if they had more time and knowledge (considering that you are a teacher of English :)). That’s another interest we have in common… If I had had the opportunity to decide what to study / do in my life, I would have probably become a teacher of English :).

Have you noticed we live in a small world?
May I ask you whether that relative of your boyfriend came from Dobovo, Dobrovo, Dobova or from Dobrava… because Slovenia is a very small country and some of those places are very near to me. (I’ve already checked… you can see the red sign for Dobovo and Nova Gorica (my home-town) on its left ;)).
I’m glad to know that we can communicate in more ways ;))). I live approximately 200 meters from the Italian border and I’ve also learned German – just because I wanted to try another foreign language ;))… I’d love to learn Spanish too…
“Pridna!” (Something like “Good girl!” / “Good work!”) … You remembered the Slovene phrase for “Cheers!” :) It’s amazing!!! This is so sweet of you! You are special, you know? Not many people in the world know that expression! And you even tried to write it down! I guess you made happy also every one of my school-mates (“our men usually know more about drinking habits”;)).
I’m glad you can study what you really like :)… I think it’s the best thing you can choose when you can proceed doing things for fun. I would also study foreign languages for fun… I studied (on my own) economy as I couldn’t have studied anything else… and I study (also part-time) informatics because I need it (I like it too). Imagine: I’m 42 (!) years old and I’m the only woman in our class. I feel fine but I’d prefer to have a girl like you in the same class.
At this special occasion, I sincerely hope you won’t get offended if I teach you the right spelling: “Na zdravje!”
